Press Release 10/4/2007: New DSR ConstructorI would like to introduce Zilker Vehicle Technology, LLC to the DSR community. Zilker Vehicle Technology, LLC offers mechanical CAD & drafting services, prototype machining, prototype fabrication, and several vehicle performance products to the automotive and racing industry. The Zilker Vehicle team has embarked on the design and construction of a DSR prototype as a flagship vehicle for our products and services. DSR is one of several SCCA classes that allow constructors to provide unique and competitive technology to customers who understand and appreciate innovative and sophisticated design. The Zilker DSR prototype is on track to unveil in early December, just in time for winter testing. The Zilker Vehicle team will attend the SCCA runoffs in Topeka, KS next week. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our product and service offerings with you at our vendor booth.

Press Release 2/25/08: Zilker Vehicle DSR Progress ReportGreetings! The Zilker Vehicle Team is overdue for a DSR progress report. The prototype DSR is sitting on rubber and steering. The body work is progressing through the mold making process. The assembly process has gone smoothly and we are currently still on target for our goal weight of 725-lbs with engine. Press Release 5/5/08: ZD01 Public Showing at UTThe student chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) at The University of Texas at Austin played host to the first public showing of the ZD01 DSR chassis on Thursday May 1st, 2008. The Zilker Team would like to thank everyone who made it out to the meeting on Thursday. We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm and encouragement.
